The 5 year project of "Green Photonics Research" was created under the auspices of Japan's Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) in April 2011. Green Photonics is a very new academic field. The project is aimed to contribute to the lasting development of the society through the leading-edge research and development.
